J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Lunch: For the older members of our congregation J.O.Y. lunches provide an opportunity to get together and have a meal prepared by Mike Fluchere! There is live entertainment and lots of laughs for everyone who comes to participate. For more information, contact:

Meals ministry helps when a family needs a helping hand after a tragedy or even a celebration of new life. This minimal time commitment ministry can allow a new mom an evening that she can let someone else take care of her while she takes care of her baby. Or someone who is recovering from surgery doesn’t have to worry about how they are going to get dinner together. If you want to get involved contact Diane Ewing email at email@example.com
SCPC CARE TEAM
Congregational care at SCPC is a team effort. The Care team is led by Pastor Candie Blankman, Pastor Dee Hazen, and Vi Janssen, elder for care. The team includes members and friends of SCPC who provide visitation, meals, prayer, emergency assistance, and cancer and grief support, and memorial ministry. Another part of the Care Team, called Alongside, provides extra support through trained caring men and women who accompany folks experiencing hard times. All members and friends have access to this care team. Contact Pastor Blankman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Contact Marsha Easterday at 949.412.2987 or
June Dempsey at 949.498.4058 if you have any questions.
CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
Cancer Support Group is for people struggling with cancer or have a loved one struggling with it. Come and meet other people struggling in the same way. No one should have to go through it alone. Contact leader Dave Robinson if you have questions (848) 842-4206 or email: email@example.com
