Care & Support
Our mission is to inspire people to become wholehearted followers of Christ.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28: 18-20
To be a vibrant, Christ-centered community of faith who lives in grace, practices gratitude and extends generosity.
WHO LIVES IN GRACE…
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2: 8-10
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Rejoice in the Lord always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
So we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
1 Thessalonians 2:8
But since you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you – see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
2 Corinthians 8:7
A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
AUTHENTICITY: God accepts us as we are, with all our imperfections and inconsistencies, freeing us from pretense. We commit to being transparent and vulnerable with one another. By sharing our real-life stories, we deepen relationships within the body of Christ and reveal God’s unconditional love.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3: 17-18
If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us all from sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness
1 John 1:6-9
HOSPITALITY: God always makes room for us, welcoming us home with open arms. We desire to be a church where there is always space for another and everyone feels warmly welcomed and valued.
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.
1 Peter 4: 8-9
Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
OUTREACH: Jesus Christ came to an imperfect world, seeking the lost, the least, and the broken-hearted. We join Christ in his mission, proclaiming the Good News, serving our neighbors in meaningful, life-giving ways.
Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. All this is done by God, who through Christ changed us from enemies into his friends and gave us the task of making others his friends also. Our message is that God was making all human beings his friends through Christ. God did not keep an account of their sins, and he has given us the message which tells how he makes them his friends. Here we are, then, speaking for Christ, as though God himself were making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf: let God change you from enemies into his friends!
2 Corinthians 5: 17-20
Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 22: 37-40
CELEBRATION: God’s deepest desire is for us to live an abundant life. We want our life together to be marked by joy, celebration, and freedom.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
INNOVATION: In an ever-changing world, we recognize the need to be creative in the way we present the never-changing message of God’s grace and new life. We hope to be a risk-taking church, free to try new and imaginative methods of ministry.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
