Welcome to our High School Ministry
9:00AM - 10:45AM
On Sundays, High School students are encouraged to serve in SC Kids Sunday (our Nursery-5th Sunday program) and/or hang with us at one of the morning services - 9AM or 10:45AM in the sanctuary. On the last Sunday of the month, we’ll hang for Sunday Funday- a sweet connection point in the Student Center to hang with friends and get some lunch after the service. It’s totally free. (That’s because the church really loves you all)
7:30PM - 9:00PM
On most Wednesdays, Refuge Wed meets (check the calendar for schedule). Here’s how it works: On the 1st and 3rdWed’s, we’ll meet for large group in the Student Center. On 2nd and 4th Wed’s, we’ll meet at various locations around town for small groups. On the 5th Wed, we’ll be in the Student Center for a larger games and praise night.
Since we know that our off-campus locations for small groups are the trickiest part of this, we’ve made it easy. Everyone who attends Refuge large group and gives us permission, will receive a notification by text on Monday letting them know where their small group will be. This will be in addition to the personal and group texts sent out by small group leaders. Oh and know that small group locations will rarely change. When they do it will be because the location is no longer available or we’re doing Super Small Groups where more than one group meets at a location to worship together before they break out. When there is a change, you will be notified ASAP.
Large group is the time when you get to see that we love to hang with you over food, drink, laughter, pool, foosball, etc... We think God has made us to enjoy our time with one another to learn more about ourselves, others, and God. That’s what large group is all about- hang, fun, worship, and a talk that connects to your life, encourages, inspires, and doesn’t put you to sleep.
Are you new?
No problem! Just click the email Ryan link below, ask about small groups or large groups, and you’ll get info on where to go, what to expect, and who is going to be there. The leader will get a heads up that you might come and when you arrive they will get you connected to the other students there in a way that doesn’t embarrass you. It’s really that easy.
