Ways to get involved:

Volunteer.

There are two ways to volunteer your time:

• Baby Bundle Party: Tuesday, Sept 8th, 10am-12pm. We will stuff baby bundles, prep for shower games, organize prizes, etc. We need 10 volunteers to help. There will be coffee, donuts and fun! Sign up on the patio or email Kris at kkorkunis@gmail.com.

• Volunteer at the Shower: Saturday, Sept 12th between 9am and 3pm. There are many talents needed to put on this event.  See the list below. Please sign up on the patio or email Kris at kkorkunis@gmail.com. We need volunteers for:

  • Shower Set up - 9-10:30am - Set up games, microphones and screens as well as pick up balloons, display gifts and prizes, decorate tables, create a photobooth, etc. The room will be pre-set.

  • Parking "Guides" - 10:30-11:30am - We need 1-2 folks to make sure there is parking in the north lot for the shower attendees. There will be signage saying "Reserved for Private Event".

  • Guest Registration and Shower Hosts- 10:30-1:30pm - Register and welcome Shower guests and families as well as tend to any needs they might have during the shower.

  • Food set up and serving – 10:30am-2:00pm - Pick up lunch from Board and Brew, arrange food and drinks, manage the buffet, and serve cake after lunch. 

  • Photographers - 11:00am-2:00pm - We need 1-2 people who are good with smartphone photography to take candid pics at the shower. A host can do this too!

  • Clean up - 1:30-2:30pm - Strip round tables and put tablecloths in bags, pack up reusable decorations and games in bins, tidy the room, put leftover food in the kitchen fridge (or take it home!!) and put trash in bins. NO heavy lifting or breaking down tables.

Donations!

Below is a list of Items we would love to have!  Just drop off in the Church Office or bring to the patio on Sundays  between now and the Shower.

• Amazon, Walmart or Target Gift Cards in any amount to put toward shower gifts. Every $ helps!!!!!

• Diapers, size 1 month through 5 months only please

• Baby wipes, wash cloths

• Baby monitors, diaper genies, baby wraps/ carriers, 8 toddler-safe stuffed animals, changing pads, diaper bags, Boppies, etc, (new or used but in excellent condition)

• New Baby clothes with tags on. (you can remove price) 3mos-6mos preferred. More boys or gender neutral. (NO onesies or layettes, please!!  We already have enough)

  We use donated gift cards to buy larger items. But if you wish to make a larger donation, here is a list of items we’d love to be able to give these families!!
