WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
The Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study has begun with a study on the Book of Philippians. Women of all ages are invited to gather each Wednesday from 9:15–11:00am in the SCPC Library for fellowship, prayer, and time in God’s Word. Together we’ll encourage one another, grow deeper in faith, and discover how Scripture speaks into our daily lives. Whether you’re brand new to Bible study or have been part of one for years, you’ll find a warm welcome and a place to belong.

IT’S COMPLICATED
Join us for IC (It’s Complicated), a gathering for young adults every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday evening in the Student Center. This is a space created for recent high school grads, college students, and young adults to connect, grow in faith, and share life together. Because let’s be honest—this season can feel complicated, but you don’t have to walk it alone!

Every Wednesday
The Lookout is a fun, welcoming space created especially for middle schoolers to feel seen, valued, and connected. It is a place where students can bring their whole selves, ask honest questions, and begin exploring their faith in a way that feels engaging and relevant to their everyday lives. Through games, teaching, small groups, and caring leaders, Lookout helps middle schoolers build strong friendships, grow in their understanding of God’s love, and take meaningful steps in their faith journey. Join us every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm!
REFUGE
Every Wednesday
Refuge is a weekly space where high school students are invited to slow down, be known, and encounter God in a real and personal way. It is a place of safety and belonging, where questions are encouraged, faith is nurtured, and authentic community is built. Through meaningful conversations, Scripture, worship, and shared experiences, Refuge helps students grow in their relationship with Christ while forming lasting friendships rooted in grace, trust, and hope. Join us on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm!

AL PIERCE MEMORIAL
We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Al Pierce, a vibrant and beloved member of our church and community for nearly 100 years. Few people leave a mark the way Al did, and we want to honor that well. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 30th at 4:30pm in Stephens Chapel, with a brief reception to follow. Come gather with us, share a memory, and celebrate a life that was truly well lived and well loved.

HEALING AT THE WELL EVENT
On May 2nd from 10:00am–12:00pm, we're gathering in SCPC's chapel courtyard for a morning set apart — a ministry devoted to ensuring no widow or her children walk through grief alone.
Come share in fresh Bear Coast Coffee, listen to stories of healing and hope, and stay to arrange your own bouquet with flowers from Flower Co. of San Clemente. Every coffee and bouquet purchase goes directly to supporting the mission. Bring a friend. Let the morning speak to you.

This will be one of our last gatherings together this season, and we’d love for everyone to be there as we soak up time, laughter, and connection.

PASTOR DAVE RICKETTS MEMORIAL
May 9th
Pastor Dave Ricketts memorial will be held on Saturday, May 9th at 2:00pm. Pastor Dave had a gift for making people feel known, and in turn, so many came to know and love him. We are holding his wife Siv and their two sons close in our prayers and in our community, and we invite you to do the same. If you have a memory or a story of Dave's impact in your life, we would love for you to share it — send it to StoriesofDave@scpres.org so that Siv and his family can read through them and be encouraged. This Celebration of Life will be a time for all of us to gather, grieve, give thanks, and remember well. We are not meant to carry sorrow alone. Come draw near with us.

High School students are invited to HSM Study Hall on May 27 from 7:00–8:30pm. This is a relaxed space to bring homework, study for finals, and work alongside friends, with leaders around for support and encouragement. Come get focused, stay productive, and take a breather together as the school year wraps up. Coffee, hot chocolate, and some snacks will be provided!

SENIOR BLESSING SUNDAY
Senior Blessing Sunday is happening on May 31st during the 10:30am service. We invite you to join us as we pray over and celebrate our graduating seniors, thanking God for the season behind them and asking His guidance and blessing as they step into what’s next. It will be a meaningful moment of encouragement, gratitude, and community as we send them out surrounded by love and prayer.

Middle School Ministry and High School Ministry are headed to Catalina Island for Summer Camp June 8th - 11th, and we couldn’t be more excited! This is always a highlight of the year for our students, filled with meaningful worship, powerful teaching, deep friendships, and unforgettable moments together. Register below!

Join us for our Baptism Bonfire on June 17! We’ll gather for an evening of celebration, worship, and community as we celebrate those taking the step of baptism. Stay after for a relaxed bonfire with friends and family as we rejoice in what God is doing and enjoy time together.

Mark your calendars for July 27–31 as we head into the heart of the jungle for Rainforest Falls! Kids will explore the wonders of God’s creation through games, music, crafts, and stories that celebrate His faithfulness in every season.
